Heartwood is a light to medium brown in colour, can show brown streaks known as "Olive Ash".

Sap wood can be wide and will be beige to light brown. Grain contrasts nicely with the light blonde tones. Glues, stains and finishes well.

Used in internal joinery as well as flooring and wagon wheels.
